Homesickness

I've been staying in Baguio since June 1996. At first to study, then for work since November 2000. It's only lately though that I've been feeling homesick. I've been looking for the company of family members and long time friends. It's just lately that I'm really looking forward to going home even if there really isn't any special occasion. Tambay lang and kwentuhan is enough for me. Then I feel kinda down when it's time to go back to Baguio. Hmmm... Bakit nga kaya? I've been asking myself this question for the past days and I still don't have a good enough answer. It could just be the blues or one of my 'sentimental' moments. It could be the weather, I could be having SAD (seasonal affective disorder). Or it could just be hormones.
